Ah - come on Gene, Sir Reynard - you should know me by Now! I'm always joking.
Heck - aint NO Way I'm going to jeopardize this job. Especially since this place is Uber Professional as an environment at the people working here. :-) -K- -----Original Message----- From: ProfoxTech [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Gene Wirchenko Sent: Monday, July 13, 2015 2:02 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Those Nasty Wizards & a Method Removal... I would advise against the stiff booze you referred to in the just-previous post. Of course, this warning is probably too late. I had a similar problem with dBASE III Plus where the compile was silently failing when generating the all-the-prgs-bound-together file. (I forget what it was called.) The problem did not show up on the development system since when dBASE could not find a module, it would look for the .prg. On the development system, it would find the .prg. On the production systems, there was only the all-the-prgs-bound-together file. Even then, there was no error message; it was as if each missing .prg consisted of a return statement. The error was noted because reports did not have their headings, the heading .prg being part of the silently-lost code.
