Yeah, but then I'd probably use it for that. :) I like having those 
features on other printers around here so that I can make someone else 
do those chores. :)

I did the jet direct thing for a while; it never worked as well as a 
standard attached printer. Page margins were registered incorrectly, or 
resized badly. It was a cool concept as the printer (actually, we bought 
it as a fax machine) was in the middle of nowhere but we happened to 
have an ethernet cable nearby.

Could be.... It may be that it's inconsequential, really.

Pretty amazing to be able to buy a b&w/color laser for under $500, 
considering that my first laser was an original HPLJ for $3500....

And had two fonts. :)
