You say that we should punish a company for making a living from the goods
that their employees make ?

Whats next ?
Are you going to put the corner convenience store out of business because
they make a living selling their goods ?

Folks, if there isnt a living to be made from it, or the person derives
personal satisfaction from their hobbies, then nothing will happen anywhere
in the world.

I mean, look at yourself.
You work because you need income to provide for your family.
You do hobbies because you derive personal satisfaction from it

I think you're right Michael. But that is PRECISELY why every computer
professional out there with a moral backbone needs to do everything in their
power to move customers off MS products. Now. Today. It will take a time and
it will be difficult, but it's gotta be done if we want computers to be
useful in the future. The thing is, MS may not have to be utterly destroyed
- if they recognize droves leaving their OS, they might actually change
their tune (he says hopefully, but not holding his breath).
