In being a fanatic, he is being counterproductive to his extremist goal because he is alienating people who may agree with his end result but not with his means to that end. Just as an aside, I still believe that Shrub is a puppet for the likes of Cheney's Crew. Shrub may be a good ole boy way down, but someone is pulling his strings and until the issue of who that gets resolved, I have no choice but to pin the "blame" on Papa George's Boy Blunder.
