There's only one thing about this whole sordid affair that baffles me:
that not a single prosecutor or media organization in this entire
country will take them on. When Fitzgerald indicted Libby, I really
thought that would trigger the process, but he backed off. 

On this, I can come to no other conclusion then they got to him somehow.
Some piece of information, factually right or wrong, but something that
Puff can work with to denigrate him and/or someone close to him. Since
he's known to be pretty clean, I'm thinking the latter.

There's a giant vacuum for a leader to emerge here. I'm no Microsoft
fan, but if Bill Gates were to step up to the task, I'd actually
consider getting on board with his .NET thing just as a way of thanking
him. Since I feel 0% support for .NET today, that's no small statement.
