We've been using a remote desktop session with a
startup script on the host computer

when the remote computer logs into the account
"backup", it starts an xxcopy program (xxcopy is a
shareware program of xcopy on steroids that creates
backup logs, etc) to send the changes to the remotes'
disk. \\tsclient\c.

It's been working fairly well.

However

I want to add remote backup to all my clients so that
they backup is stored on a commercial datacenter
computer.
