Well, here is a math problem for you. Given that GNP remain the same, but population in the U.S. declines, would that result in more GNP per preson or less. GNP per person? As population declines in relation to a constant amount of goods and services, then goods and services available per person increases, and the demand on the planet can also be reduced with a reduction in population.
