I like to. I never signed the social contract so I don't see myself bound to it. I think we are still in the jungle (and I don't mean criminals, they are towards the bottom of the feeding chain) and act accordingly. But OTOH I don't turn and cry 'Mommy!' (aka 911) when trouble knocks at the door. Nor do I ascribe to nationalistic emotions. I guess I'm just not a team player. > > Face it, the govt can't protect any of us. See. Your issue is 'protection' (a.k.a. fear). Not freedom really. > Our weapons are just a little more sophisticated, > and they make more noise. ;-) And they require less courage. It means gravity can accelerate a mass only so much (depending on mass, shape, and friction I guess). So bullets don't really come down at the same speed they left the muzzle. If you let go a bullet from a 15th floor I guess it'll reach terminal velocity. Do you think it would kill someone? >.
