Well, Pete wanted to know what the US exported, if anything, so I told 
him.  I believe that the US should have a strong military, and even 
nuclear weapon that would act as deterrent to war by assuring mutual 
destruction of all the parties who ever used them, but I also believe 
that the world is way over built military, so there is lots of room to 
reduce weapons and military forces proportionally around the world that 
would leave the USA no worse off than she is today.

Currently the USA spends almost as much on its military as all the rest 
of the world combined.  Do you think that much emphasis on a military is 
necessary?  What's up with that?  Is the US planning on some kind of 
future that involves perpetual preemptive wars forever?  How much 
military and national defense is enough?
