I agree! Drug addicts and alcoholics are no fun to work with, and the responsibility to the Team is crucial. (I do notice that everyone - not just you - always assumes I am talking about drugs/alcohol when I express my point of view in this area... odd, it's really more of a philosophical point but... ) I guess I just have a severely irrational response to any employer trying to monitor / dictate / influence any aspect of my outside-the-office life because I really consider "life" and "work" to be two completely different things that I keep as separated as possible: I am not what I do for a living. Besides, when it comes to down to it, my wife, mother and teenager daughter are doing a fine job telling me what to do, what not to do, how to live and don't need any help from my employer :)

I used to think like that, but if you don't feel responsibility to the team, you are a detriment to the team no matter how talented and hard working you think you are. If all the crap is completely out of your system when you show up... you may be right. For myself, I don't care to work with druggies and alkies. -- Larry Miller --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/mixed multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html message/rfc822 --- [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
