Hey, I probably trust the government less than you do even, Leland.  I don't 
trust them to take care me and all that good stuff.  I also don't like them 
knowing what I'm up to.  Heck, I won't even get an EasyPass for the tolls 
because there is a record of every time I would go through a toll booth, time, 
date, etc.  However, it would have been helpful for the Gmen to know what 
people like Mohammud Atta were up to... wouldn't it?

The point is that if you are going to be committing nefarious deeds using a 
form of public (I know some will argue about this one) communication, then be 
aware people are watching.  I never send anything in a email that I don't 
accept the possibility of it being read by someone other than the intended 
party - either through forwarding or snooping.  I'm also careful what I say on 
the phone... never know who may be listening.  ;-)

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean you don't have enemies.
