That is unfortunate, but doesn't prevent you from using Linux for
imaging. There are several LiveCD (bootable disks) that will let you
temporarily run Linux and have access to its many utilities. I have
been using Knoppix and the 'partimage' utility it includes to image
several different OSes, and to replace/upgrade hdds in machines. Works
like a dream.

There's also a specialized disk called Clonezilla, but I haven't had a
chance to try it out.

Ghost, from what I hear, was swapped out with Partition Image when
Symantec merged their Norton and Partition* product lines.  The
original Ghost was pretty cool.
