You meant to say Symantec swapped it out for the PowerQuest DriveImage. Partition Magic is the other PowerQuest package Symantec assimilated. Both the PowerQuest tools rock. I still use DriveImage to back up my machine every night. I am not sure the "new" Ghost is as good. Knowing Symantec they probably messed it up. I tried Acronis' v9 product and the first file I tried to restore C5'ed the restore application. This did not make me feel comfortable enough to rely on it for something as critical as my backups. The reason I wanted to try Acronis is the fact it is Vista compatible and I will need something along this line when I get my first Vista test machine.
