Hi John I have been using a suggestion from Craig Boyd lately. I tried Blat and even with help from some of the more eminent members her was unable to get it to work correctly with that attachments I was wanting to send. In my purchase Order system I automate Excel to produce the purchase order then print it to a PDF Printer using "PDFCreator" and finally use "vfpexmapi.fll" to send to all the employees and suppliers it want to got to. A link to the tools is http://www.sweetpotatosoftware.com/SPSBlog/PermaLink,guid,baccc84d-4d91- 458b-a839-ad03662dfc34.aspx
If you want I can email you direct the code I use. When the user was using Outlook Express there was no problem but since she has changed to Outlook 2000 it requires confirmation for each email - no big deal, there's only seven of them. I'm using the MSMAPI32.ocx (I know, I know - MAPI bad, SMTP good! But it works.) I've now been asked to look at sending reminders by email, typically 50 - 100 at a time. The user doesn't fancy pressing OK that many times at one go. Has anyone any suggestions as to a way round this problem? I did look briefly at SMTP but it seemed to require too much knowledge of the user's system so I left it as it wasn't generic enough for my needs but I suppose I could use it in this one-off case.
