I was just funnin' here - I have a five year old LaserJet... > Check that the user hasn't activated that as a ink saving measure... The point is that while the grid is chock full-o-colors, my FRX isn't. It is just set up to print b&w, like in olden days. And I guess that might be my answer - I suppose there's a way to modify the FRX so that the background color of the text objects use the same color as the corresponding cell in the grid does. Ick.
