A number of the report object support color backgrounds, aside from the fonts and text itself, I use the rectangle object - selecting it's "Style" tab - the options for setting up foreground and background colors exists... The Print When can control the rectangle appearing and disappearing, etc... Any object in the report writer that supports color - prints in color. All this I believe you know, you are just reluctant to add enhancements to the report <g>... Cheers John C.
