I didn't know about either of those things, but IMO they prove my  
point: regular users don't know how to do either. Heck, they don't  
even know that all of these files are out there at all. How about:

1. A "Clean up my system" button somewhere? Gets rid of this stuff (+  
internet cache + cleans out OL or OLE deleted messages, etc.)

2. Better yet: delete temp files automatically on shutdown or restart.

3. Best: make sure programs don't leave crap around in there in the  
first place.
