Hi, >How can a dummy, er, "regular user" get rid of all of that detritus? I >whinge about that all of the time!
When the drive gets close to be full, Windows by default prompts you to clean up files. Among those is completely emptying the temp directory. They don't have to know where or what the TEMP folder is. On the phone I tell customers to enter %temp% in the address bar of Explorer and hit enter. That's much simpler than trying to figure out where the folder is located. -- Christof _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
