I used to always do this when I was network admin on our Novell 
servers.  Probably should do this on my own computers, but it always 
makes more sense to me to do it when you have 2 drives, instead of 1 
partitioned drive.  (ie, a failing drive could wreck both partitions, if 
using a single drive, so I see no real advantage)
