A lot of life for desk bound projects it seems. But recent attempts to make VFP work with c# calls for complex web services are scary to say the least. Every time something goes right the next bummer turns up. Having said that its my lack of c# experience thats at fault. But If I have to learn c# then maybe I wont need VFP any more. Shame. catch 22 Allen
-----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Dave Crozier Thinking about it, Sedna and these aforementioned components give us a VFP10 and a lot of life in our so called "dead" product. I daresay once Sedna is released there will be many more people jump onto the VFP9 platform from VFP5 and VFP7 but only if it is as stable as the standard VFP9 which I have found to be the best VFP version - without doubt. What with this existing treasure trove to delveinto and Craig's up and coming VFP Studio as well as the ETecnologia initiative to produce VFP based on the .net framework, the future hasn't been as bright for many years and I certainly look forward to using the product to the end of my career and hopefully beyond.
