Hi Allen, Thanks, yes I agree, they all play a factor in it - but if that's the case, I would have thought it would have affected the work laptop too.

WPA-PSK on and off, WPA/WEP on and off, no encryption whatsoever. Still no difference, it still drops all the time (*only* on my home laptop, work laptop is fine with any of the settings).
