        Why don't you actually try out Linux before making assumptions? The  
GUI is as easy as Mac or Windows, and there are just as many GUI  
utilities as on the other two platforms. Most hard-core geeks like the  
power and flexibility of the CLI, but it's no more required than on  
Mac or Windows.
