Paul: Serious Linux developer maybe, but I am using Ubuntu and I really
haven't done any command line stuff. I did use the command line a
couple of times, but found out later I could have used the Add Programs
interface instead. I use Virtual Box with XP for VFP and also for
testing applications. I just finished all of my tax work on Quickbooks
in Virtual Box. I download programs and software in Ubuntu and save it
to my SBS2003 server all the time. The multiple desktops makes
development even more productive.

Navigating around the file system took a little time to learn, but I
expected that and am very comfortable with it.

YMMV
