I like the peace of mind that all my mail - every last bit of it for at 
least a decade - is sitting on my server and is getting backed up every day.

But I also like having offline access to my most recent email or 
important email.

I think there are extensions that would let me save my account settings 
and preferences for TB on my server too, so I don't need to keep 
tweaking each instance of TB how I like it. Just on my laptop I have TB 
running on Mac, Windows, and Linux.
