My experience was the other way: I tried Thunderbird and found it
lacking. It was the Outlook calendar that TB couldn't match (at the
time, maybe it's better now), and I was in the habit of using Outlook's
at the time, so I went back. I'm now using my own databases for
calendaring, so the Outlook calendar is unimportant, but I really
haven't felt to switch again. But then I also write in text format only
:)

In any case, it's not me, and not just OT that I'm really talking about.
What I'm really talking about is the paranoid/warmonger/mean-spirited
mentality that has stiffled and neutralized not only OT but Washington
as well.

I'll apologize for the outburst, but watching that farce called an
election play out has made it clear that the only hope we have left is
at the grass roots level. But then, when I see what happened to OT, I
wonder if it isn't the same problem only smaller. Then I think: if we
can't fix it from the top down, and we can't fix it from the bottom up,
what is left?
