Nope: have your mail client save the messages locally, too. Or the most important ones, at least. I have my TB set to automatically save all incoming messages to specific folders, and all sent messages. I get the best of all worlds. I can compose email on the airplane, hit 'send', and when I go online again in the concourse TB will send all queued messages, download any mail I've received in the interim, and go offline again with just a couple clicks.
