Hi All,

Just got off the phone from our dealer in Ireland.

They're on-site upgrading our app from DOS to Windows. Everything is
going OK except on a Vista PC.
I've just been desksharing and it's very odd. Several DBFs seem to be
'missing'.

I'm logged on as the same user as the working XP machine. I've also
tried logging on as domain admin.
Other users are running the app so I know that these DBFs are present
(datestamps are from a few minutes ago).

>From both the command prompt and Explorer the DBFs are just not there.
They are not hidden, or system.

I tried this:

DIR hot_alog.*
- File Not Found. Also tried /ah and /as (hidden and system)

DIR > hot_alog.xxx
- works OK

DIR > hot_alog.dbf
- Access denied

So the file exists but I can't see it. I don't think it's a rights
issue XP has no problems.

Anyone seen this before?

I'm getting the dealer to make a copy of the folder and then check if
Vista can see these files. Hopefully this will work.
