That's not the same kind of setting as the big leagues in D.C. One thing that is similar about Obama and Bill is that they both got where they are through the support provided by the superior earning capacities of their wives. Hillary and Michele each earned good livings as lawyers and administrators. Without that money Obama would not have been able to civil rights law and run for state senate and still live in a mansion. Those jobs don't pay much. Without Michele, Obama would not be running for president right now. I haven't seen much written about the roles that these two high-earning wives have played in each of their spouse's lives.
