It looked like a cute idea, so I tried it just now.  The first thing I 
do when I get hold of a machine, from long-standing habit, is to drop to 
DOS and look around.  The "invisible" folder stands out quite easily in 
the dir listing.  Also, since the article warns that this won't fool 
computer-knowledgeable people, and he's taking it to a computer 
technician, it's probably not the best way to hide this info.  :-)


Actually, Michael, why can't you just drag the folder off onto a thumb 
drive, and put it back after the computer is returned?
