Because they've figured out how to control the system. They own the
media; they own the churches. They know what to say to keep their
sheep voting for them. They know how to portray Democrat vs.
Republican as Good vs. Evil to both sides, so that the sheep get hung
up on "liberal" vs. "conservative" and don't notice that both sides
are dipping into the till.
