Detroit was just an example, there are thousands of properties throughout all states at $100 or less and it's not down to anyone at a local level the whole sub prime problem was identified a couple of years ago but ignored as it would be bad politics to say to people "no you can't buy your own homes" even if you are a ninja (No Income, No Job or Assets)...
