For me I really do not worry about what most people want.  I do not mind 
working in an IDE for one off stuff.  But for my automated routines I have my 
VFP apps build the various batch files (based on certain table.field values and 
current Date & Time stamps), then use the ZipGenius (previously WinZip Pro) CLI 
to fire off the transfers needed.  This happens in the wee hours of the morning 
all across the USA and Puerto Rico, when most mortals are sleeping (including 
me usually), so I do not give a rat's ass if anyone sees I am not using an IDE 
or not <g>...
