Some oil companies are offering 20/80 mixes, which can be burned in any existing oil furnace. A few people have tried 100% bio-oil, and the only problem is that sometimes it eats through some sort of gasket in the furnace. Once you replace that (apparently an expensive job), it's fine. Some people never have any problem at all.
