Actually, as a general observation that old adage may have some validity. I would like to think many instructors in our industry are amongst the brighter and more experienced folks. And, if it turns out I am being more optimistic than is warranted it ought to prompt me to do something about it. Something like take on teaching a course or two and helping students to get a better look at the realities of running a computer operation. But, I have yet to see anyone offer a course on how to start and run a successful computer services business. And I would not be inclined to want to teach a course on computer basics and programming theory. I would be so bored... Hence my interest and pleasure in becoming a mentor for students from time to time. I have done this two times now, one for a college student, and once for Mike Wohlrab (our young ProFoxer). Both times it was a very rewarding experience, and they have both done well with what they learned. And, frankly, I feel I am a better person who came out further ahead as a result. If nothing else I feel that Lynda will not be alone when folks are at my funeral <g>... Mike and Mary will both be there (See you later Gil, you old slave driving bastard!), heh-heh...
