Quick side question, hoping to not derail the whole thread...

I seem to recall hearing that hydrogen is horrendously expensive to 
generate (e.g. takes a lot of energy). So wouldn't it be a much, much 
better plan to focus on creating electric cars instead of hydrogen powered 
cars? And from there, focus on wind turbines, solar, nuclear, etc to 
generate less expensive electricity.
