Not really.
Probably because it's different down there. Here the energy produced for 
the grid comes from hydroelectric sources but also from gas and 
Petroleum fuel, so you would still be burning petrol. Maybe that is not 
so in your country? Do you ONLY use petroleum for cars? Not for the grid?
