I agree. They are using hydrogen as the "battery". Coal, wind, solar, etc is used to crack the hydrogen into oxygen and hydrogen, then the hydrogen is stored to run a fuel cell.
Seems more efficient to use quick-charge battery technology to run the electric cars since there already is a built-in grid of available power. so either plug in at home or plug in at a coin-operated charger on the road. ************************************************************************ Kwame Kilpatrick Gear! <http://www.cafepress.com/rightwingmike> Jack Kevorkian for Congress! <http://www.cafepress.com/rightwingmike> I Wish Hillary had married OJ http://www.cafepress.com/rightwingmike/4236924 --- On Fri, 5/2/08, Charlie Coleman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > From: Charlie Coleman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: RE: [OT] Opinions? > To: "ProFox Email List" <[email protected]> > Date: Friday, May 2, 2008, 3:42 PM > At 12:13 PM 5/2/2008 -0500, Wolfe, Stephen S Civ USAF > AMC 6 MDSS/SGSI > wrote: > >Some reliance, only for the heavy diesel > transportation, trains and > >aircraft.
