And this is why folks like you are dooming the Republic. It is not the role of the SCOTUS to act as supreme moral arbiter, but rather to interpret law, within our Constitutional framework. Too many decisions are based on non-legal considerations and/or plucked straight out of the justices' arses altogether. But why bother anymore?
