Somethings should be feared.  I fear falling off a roof, so I don't get too 
close to the edge.  I fear chopping off body parts with my chain saw, so I pay 
attention to what I am doing with it.  We should all fear getting blown up, 
gassed or whatever... not to the point where we are non-functional... but to 
the point where we take proper precautions.

Some bad things may happen, but to not do everything we can to prevent them is 
to see our government falling down on the job.  It's not fear in an 
incapacitating sense, but in the sense that we don't turn a blind eye to crazy 
people who want to kill us.
