Check out Grosse Pointe Blank where John Cusack is a morally ambivalent government assassin returning for his high school reunion. He tells us that you really have to have done something pretty bad for him to show up at your door. I know it offends the sensibilities of some, but there are times when there needs to be some pretty heavy handed, discreet operations. BTW, it's a funny film. Also, to some who think they can put Christians in a box of their own design, it is not a good idea to ignore the justice of God when using His loving nature to discount the idea of capital punishment. Under the old covenant, women were stoned to death (pelted with rocks, not ODed on marijuana) for being caught in bed with the wrong man. Mercy is there for anyone who asks, but that does not mean there are not consequences to one's actions during this lifetime. In fact, if you will read the Bible, you see that there are some pretty strong condemnations for judges who let the guilty go free. -- Larry Miller --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/mixed text/plain (text body -- kept) message/rfc822 --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
