        Despite the FUD, it's actually very simple: MySQL is provided to you  
without restrictions. If you use it to create software that is  
likewise without restrictions, great. However, if you use it to create

        I know that, like Ted said, that this is troll bait, and so I'm not  
going to respond to this. But for the sake of others out there who  
might swallow such BS, just imagine if VFP were an open source  
product: it would be running on all platforms, active development  
would still be going on, and there would be no chant of "Fox is dead"  
going on. Sure, not all of us could mess with the source code  
directly, but do you doubt that smart guys like Christof Wollenhaupt  
or others would have problems with it? Do you believe for a second  
that VFP wouldn't be infinitely better off if it were open source, or  
that your VFP development opportunities would be?
