I had heard years ago of an idea to basically sell services where you
paid per channel, but several stations (and the highlighted one was BET
- Black Entertainment Television) highly objected as they couldn't
survive if they weren't bundled into other channel packages.  To me,
that sounds like bullshit...if you can't make it on a subscription to
your own self, then why should you be subsidized by other channels?
