I am running an ICYBOX, basically you buy the shell and stick in your own drives... cost less than £100 + 2 1TB drives, reliable, quiet and quick transfer.
Not sure if they are in the US but I can get them in both Europe and the ME. Anyone have any prefrerences? Anyone have one that reaslly sucked? We just bought a RAID 5 1 TB NAS for a client, but I don't want to spend $1,000. I'm only looking for 500 GB or so without any bells and whistles, to backup my hard disk and store junk off my laptop.
