I haven't had much luck with my $8.00 spell checker. It will be interesting to know whether Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has any neo-conservative tendencies. If she is conservative, that one thing, but if she is neo-conservative, that something else. See is too young to have been under Leo Strauss' tutorage, (eg http://www.alternet.org/story/15935/), but that doesn't rule out the possibility that she is neo-conservative. I'm just happy that Senator John McCain didn't pick Senator Joe Lieberman as his VP running mate. Back in the 2000 election, the neo-conservatives were positioned to have one one of their own in either the number 1 or the number 2 position of the executive branch, as Democrat Joe Lieberman was Al Gore's running mate for VP, and George Bush was heading the Republican ticket for president, so the neo-cons can be very sneaky. The Neo-cons got their first choice when George Bush won the White House. I can imagine a Joe Lieberman executive branch, though. He would probably create a new Israel right here in the U.S. and move U.S. citizen out of any territory annexed for the New Israel. I wonder if that would create any conflict.
