Thank you Bob.

Usually, the presidential nominee will pick a VP running mate that has a
political philosophy closely aligned with their own. As a minimum, the
VP running mate is obliged to support the President in whatever position
is taken.

I wonder how John McCain came to know Governor Sarah Palin. Perhaps
they meet as members of the same conservative/neo-conservative political
organizations.

Below, I have a link to John McCain's Right Web profile to which it is
fair to assume Governor Palin would conform. After that I've included
the profile of John Hagee, a evangelical with a mega-church down in San
Antonio, TX, which intrigues me. I have to ask myself, how did a
religious evangelical make the profile list on Right Web as a
neo-conservative, but that's part of the neo-cons philosophy, (eg to
marry politics with religion). LOL I'm not sure about John McCain's
religious denomination/affiliations, but I suppose he could have meet
Governor Sarah Palin, if they were members of the same religious
organizations. Time for bed so good night.

Also, perhaps some other 3rd parties brought Senator John McCain and
Governor Sarah Palin together.
