Really? I hadn't heard that (we're talking about macro evolution, right?). I think the only branch of science that currently "supports" macro evolution is biology (not by evidence, but by by trying to show how things "might" have evolved by looking at genetic similarities). Archeology and mathematics do not currently support evolution. I used to think that evolution was highly grounded in science as well. But based on what I've learned over the years, it really does look more and more like a "secular religion" as time goes on. I do agree with you though that even if evolution (macro evolution) eventually does gain more support in the fossil record, and/or in probability theory, it still may never adequately address the "first cause" aspect you mention. -Charlie _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
