Hi Charlie!

My interpretation could be original, I haven't heard it before either. 
Think, would you want Cain inbreeding with his sister? (Gen 4:17). I 
think it is logical to assume that Cain met his wife in the land of Nod, 
east of Eden, and she was not his sister.

She would not have had to have been a Neanderthal, either, it was only 
what, 10,000 years ago at the outside, probably more like 6,000. She was 
probably evolved to the same level of humanity as Adam was created.
