Do I think that the newer layout of everything from M$ is a sin?
No, but maybe not offering the option for people to use the old-style menu controls in Office is. I've hundreds and hundreds of hours experience on the newer Office interface and would agree it is better, for the way I use the software, at least in some areas. I'm not anti-vista; I actually like it quite a bit and have used it as a beta tester and every day since at work. Change doesn't bother me at all, abrupt lack of choice does. Throwing a bone ( in the form of an option to not use the ribbon )in recognition of the millions of people who literally grew up using the same basic Office interface their entire lives would have been a good move by MS. But, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong ;) David Smith Systems Administrator Doan Family of Dealerships (585) 352-6600 ext.1730 [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.upstatedigitools.com --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
