That was part of it, but the point of it is the restoration of rights.  Perhaps 
the broadcast media did not distinguish between pardon and restoration.  When 
do we ever then the complete story from the driveby media.  My bad for having 
taken their word for it.  And the 1144 was at the end of 2007.  More have been 
done since then.

That was the closest match to your claim from the 13 hits on "Kaine 
pardons". There was one more recent hit about the a McCain campaign official 
charging that Kaine was "conspiring" (the newspaper's quotes) with Obama to 
add pardoned felons to voter rolls.
