Two AM here. Where did the 50,000 per year figure come from? I just googled it, the first site that came up, not NRA, said 5,000 from 1990 to 2005, one tenth of 50 thousand in 15 years, so you can see why I am skeptical. If two sources are off by a factor of some dizzy multiple you know one thing, the reporting is politicized. Unfortunately, the same stuff is going on in medical research, to the point that statistics are useless. You look for peer-reviewed studies but these too are fudged to favor whatever drug company is paying for the study. It is a sad day for the truth, that is for sure. It is different with IT. You write some code and test it. In the clinic, and in politics, you have lives on the line. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
